Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a new free pattern from me! My Basic Pillow Cover is great for any beginner to make!
You could customize this pattern in any way you want!
Just basic crochet stitches and techniques that would look fabulous in any color(s)!

Here is the free pattern/tutorial:
Materials:
Yarn – Any yarn will work – I used Medium/Aran weight for my example square
Crochet hook – Any hook will work – I used a I hook for my example square – 5.0 MM
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Crochet Stitches Needed:
Chain – CH
Stitch – ST
Skip – SK
Half Double Crochet Stitch (HDC):
How to work in the Back Loops (BLO):
Notes:
This is for a 14 X 14 pillow form
You can make either 2 sides of the pillow cover to sew/stitch together, or you can make 1 piece that will wrap around the pillow. I will give instructions for both versions. I made 1 piece for my example pillow cover.
Pattern:
To make a custom pillow cover, CH any #
For 14X14 pillow cover: CH 48 for 2 sides, CH 94 for 1 piece
Row 1: 1 HDC into 3rd CH from hook, 1 HDC into each CH across
Row 2: CH 2, in BLO: 1 HDC in each ST across
Rows 3-26: Repeat row 2
*Make 2 if you are making 2 sides to sew/stitch together
Attaching:
Sew/stitch sides together, add a zipper if you want, add buttons if you want, etc
