Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a suuuuuuuper beginner friendly crochet pattern made with bulky yarn! My Chunky Chain Cowl is so cute and fast to make! Another pattern I made during my early crochet years but it's still easy and fun to whip one up!

Here is the free pattern/tutorial:
Materials:
Yarn: Chunky Yarn - (I used Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick)
Crochet Hook: L Hook – 8.00 MM
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Crochet Stitches Needed:
Chain – CH
Slip Stitch – SL ST
Skip - SK
Single Crochet Stitch (SC):
Notes:
I used ½ of a skein for this pattern.
Pattern:
Small Band Around Cowl:
Row 1: CH 5, 1 SC into first CH, 1 SC into each CH across, CH 1, Turn Work
Rows 2-8: 1 SC into every CH across, CH 1, Turn Work
Cowl: CH until you reach the end of the skein, once you have reached the end SL ST the ends together, making a giant circle. Then take the circle & make many smaller circles, making the cowl. Once the cowl is made, attach the band to the cowl, sew the ends of the band together.
