Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Extended Single Crochet Stitch!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
Tutorial for regular Single Crochet Stitch here! For this tutorial you'll also need to know how to make chains, tutorial here!
❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈
To start this stitch, if you are at the beginning of a row you will make 1 chain for the extended single crochet stitch. Then you'll insert your hook into the next stitch or space you want to work. (Shown above) You'll then grab the yarn behind this stitch and pull it through.
You'll have 2 loops on your hook (as shown in the above picture). Yarn over your hook and pull the yarn through 1 loop on your hook.
You'll be back to having 2 loops on your hook. Yarn over again and pull the yarn through both loops on your hook.
This is what the Extended Single Crochet Stitch should look like when completed!
