Photo Tutorial – Crochet Pattern: Cozy Comfort Throw!

Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make my Cozy Comfort Throw!

First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch

For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! How to make the Half Double Crochet Stitch (HDC), tutorial here! And be familiar with the Compact Blanket Stitch, tutorial here!

Starting from the beginning make an even number of CHs for the width of your blanket. I made 176 CHs for my example blanket.

Row 1: Make 1 SC into the 2nd CH from your hook

Make 1 HDC into the same CH as the SC you just made

Make 1 HDC into the same CH with the SC and HDC

So that's SC + HDC + HDC all together

Skip 1 CH, (SC + HDC + HDC) into the next CH

*Skip 1 CH, (SC + HDC + HDC) into the next CH

Repeat the step above from * until you have 3 CHs left in your row

Skip 2 CHs, make 1 SC into the last CH of your row

Row 2: Make 2 CHs

Skip 2 STs, (SC + HDC + HDC) into the next ST

Skip 2 STs, (SC + HDC + HDC) into the next ST

*Skip 2 STs, (SC + HDC + HDC) into the next ST

Repeat the step above from * until you have 1 ST left in your row

Make 1 SC into that last ST of your row

Repeat Row 2 for however long you want your project

I made 120 rows for my example blanket
