Photo Tutorial – Crochet Pattern: Everlasting Frost Cowl!

Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make my Everlasting Frost Cowl!

First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this cowl

For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Half Double Crochet Stitch (HDC), tutorial here! And how to work in the Back Loops, tutorial here!

 

❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈

Make any number of chains for your cowl

I made 180 chains for my example cowl

Row 1: Make 1 HDC into the 3rd CH from your hook

Make 1 HDC into each CH across

Row 2: Make 2 CHs

Work into the Back Loops only

Make 1 HDC into the 1st ST

Make 1 HDC into each ST across, only working into the Back Loops

Repeat Row 2 for how wide you want your cowl

I made 12 rows total for my example cowl

Once you have yours rows, Fasten Off, tutorial here and leave a long yarn tail

You'll use the long yarn tail to join your ends together

You can leave the ends flat or twist one then join them

The twist will give you a more infinity cowl feel/look

This is what how the Everlasting Frost Cowl should look like when completed!
