Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on my free crochet pattern: Puffy Hexagon Motif!!

First, with any project you’ll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning how to make this hexie.

I will be using the Chain 4 Method for my tutorial

For this pattern you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make a Slip Stitch (SL ST), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), I have a tutorial here! And how to make the Puff Stitch (PF), tutorial here!

Make 4 chains

Make 1 DC into the CH farthest from your hook

Make 2 CHs

*2 DC into same middle space/CH

Make 2 CHs

Repeat these steps from * until you have 6 sets of 2 DC, SL ST into 1st CHs made to complete the row

Row 2: Attach new color to open space from previous CH 2 space, Make 2 CHs

1 PF into same space

CH 2

1 PF into same space

CH 1

*1 PF into next open space

CH 1

Into next space work 1 PF, CH 2, 1 PF

Make 1 CH

Repeat these steps from * , SL ST into 1st CHs made in this row

Row 3: Attach new color to open space from previous PF CH 2 PF space, Make 2 CHs

1 PF into same space

CH 2

1 PF into same space

*So same thing from the last row, 1 PF CH 2 1 PF together

Make 1 CH

1 PF into next open space, between previous PF CH 2 PFs from last row

Make 1 CH

1 PF CH 2 1 PF into next open space

(into a previous PF CH 2 PF)

CH 1, 1 PF into next open space, CH 1

Repeat these steps from * , SL ST into 1st CHs made in this row

So now in-between any previous corner (PF CH 2 PF) you'll make 1 single PF in each open space. As your hexagon gets bigger you will make more single Puffs in-between the corners.

You will now repeat row 3 for however long you want your project
