First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), tutorial here! And how to make the Quad Stitch, I have a tutorial here!

Yarn over your hook 3 times
Insert your hook through the back of your work. In the open area next to the next stitch you would normally work into. (Shown Above)
Grab that yarn you're working with, pull it through and up to the top of your work
This is where you will complete the stitch like a regular Quad ST
Yarn over your hook 1 time
Take that yarn through 2 loops on your hook
Yarn over your hook 1 time
Take that yarn through 2 loops on your hook
Yarn over your hook 1 time
Take that yarn through 2 loops on your hook
Yarn over your hook 1 last time
Take that yarn through the last 2 loops on your hook
This is what the back of your work will look like. I worked regular Quad STs between my BP ones
This is what the Back Post Quad Stitch should look like when completed!
