Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Double Crochet Cluster Stitch!

First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.

For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! How to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here! And be familiar with the Cluster Stitch, tutorial here!

Starting from the beginning, make an even number of chains

Row 1: Make 1 SC into the 2nd CH from your hook

*CH 1, SK 1 CH

1 SC into the next CH

Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of Row 1

Row 2: Make 1 CH

Make 1 DC into the 1st ST

We're going to make our 1st DC Cluster into the next previous CH 1 space, Yarn over 1 time

Insert your hook into the CH 1 space, pull up a loop through that space

Take that yarn through 2 loops on your hook, 1 DC bottom made

Yarn over your hook 1 time

Insert your hook into the same CH 1 space, pull up a loop through that space

Yarn over 1 time

Take that yarn through 2 loops on your hook, 1 DC bottom made

Yarn over your hook 1 time

Take that yarn through all 3 loops on your hook to complete the DC Cluster

Make 1 CH

Repeat the DC Cluster steps above to make another one in the next previous CH 1 space

*Make 1 CH

Repeat the DC Cluster steps above to make another one in the next previous CH 1 space

Repeat the steps above from * until you have 1 ST left in your row

Make 1 DC into the last ST of your row, to complete Row 2

Row 3: Make 1 CH

Make 1 SC between the DC & DC Cluster in your last row

CH 1, SK next DC Cluster

1 SC between previous DC Cluster STs

*CH 1, SK next DC Cluster

1 SC between previous DC Cluster STs

Repeat the steps above from * until you have turning CHs left from your last row

Make 1 SC between the last DC Cluster & turning CHs in your last row, to complete Row 3

Alternate between Rows 2 & 3 for however long you want your project

This is what the Double Crochet Cluster Stitch should look like when completed!
