Starting from the beginning make an even number of chains
❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈
Row 1: Make 1 DC into the 3rd CH from your hook
Make 1 CH, Skip 1 CH
Make 1 DC into the next CH
*Make 1 CH, Skip 1 CH
Make 1 DC into the next CH
Repeat the step above from * for the rest of Row 1
Row 2: Make 2 CHs
Skip the 1st ST, 1 DC SP into previous CH 1 space, into the CH/ST below
CH 1, Skip 1 ST
1 DC SP into previous CH 1 space, into the CH/ST below
CH 1, Skip 1 ST
1 DC SP into previous CH 1 space, into the CH/ST below
Repeat the step above from * until you have 1 ST + some CHs left in your row
Make 1 CH, Skip 1 ST
Make 1 regular DC into the tops of those CHs at the end of your row
Row 3: Make 2 CHs
Skip the 1st ST, 1 DC SP into previous CH 1 space, into the ST below
CH 1, Skip 1 ST
1 DC SP into previous CH 1 space, into the ST below
*CH 1, Skip 1 ST
1 DC SP into previous CH 1 space, into the ST below
Repeat the step above from * for the rest of Row 3
Alternate between Rows 2 & 3 for however long you want your project
