Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Slip Stitch Join to bring any crochet motifs together!

First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.

For my example SQs I used this tutorial here!

For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! And how to make the Slip Stitch (SL ST), tutorial here!

❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈

Start at meeting corners of your motifs that you want to join

Bring your yarn through both corners of each motif to start

This is where you would make regular SL STs across the lined up STs of the motifs

I did want to show that I worked only 1 SL ST across a opening of my Granny SQ

Other than that you just SL ST in each ST/opening un5til you reach the end of your row

This is what the front of your work would look like

This is what the back of your work would look like

This is what the Slip Stitch Join should look like when completed!
