Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Camel Stitch!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Half Double Crochet Stitch (HDC), tutorial here! And How to Work Into the Front Loops, tutorial here!
Starting from the beginning, make any # of chains
Row 1: Work 1 HDC into each CH
❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈
Row 2: Make 3 CHs
Work 1 HDC into each ST (until you reach the last one), going into the Front Loops only from front to back
Work 1 regular HDC into the last ST
Row 3: CH 3
Work 1 HDC into each ST, working into this top loop of the previous HDCs, It's on the back of the HDCs just made

Work 1 regular HDC into the last ST
Alternate between rows 2 & 3 for however long you want your project
