Photo Tutorial – How To Crochet: The Cobblestone Stitch!

Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Cobblestone Stitch!

First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch

For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH)! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! How to make the Half Double Crochet Stitch (HDC), tutorial here! And how to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here!

To begin make chains in the multiple of 3 + 2

 

❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈

 

Row 1: Make 1 CH

(If you're working into CHs skip this step)

Make 1 SC + 1 HDC + 1 DC into the 1st ST

(If you're working into CHs make these 1 SC + 1 HDC + 1 DC into the 2nd CH from your hook)

*Skip 2 STs/CHs

Make 1 SC + 1 HDC + 1 DC into the next ST/CH

Repeat the step above from * until you have 3 STs/CHs left of your row

*Skip 2 STs/CHs

Make 1 SC + 1 HDC + 1 DC into the last ST/CH

Repeat row 1 for however long you want your project

This is what the Cobblestone Stitch should look like when completed!
