For this stitch you'll already need to know how to make the Double Crochet Stitch. Here is a tutorial from me! You'll also need to know how to make chains, tutorial here! First, with any project you’ll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.

To start this stitch, if you are at the beginning of a row you will make 3 chains that will count for the double crochet stitch + 1 chain. This stitch is made up of 3 sections. 1 DC, 1 CH, 1 DC all in the same space/stitch. Shown above is the start of a Double Crochet Stitch (DC).
After that first DC in the stitch you'll then make 1 chain. I have a video tutorial on how to make chains here!
You'll then complete the stitch with another Double Crochet in that same space as the first one made. (Shown Above)
