Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Floret Stitch!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here! And how to make the Slip Stitch (SL ST), tutorial here!
The Floret Stitch is made from 2 rows alternating. One row of all Double Crochet or a foundation row then a Floret Stitch row
To start with making Chains, make CHs in multiples of 2 +3
Row 1: 1 DC into the 3rd CH from your hook, then 1 DC into each CH across
Row 3: CH 2, SK 1 ST, 1 DC into each ST across
Alternate between Rows 2 & 3 for however long you want your project
This is what the Floret Stitch should look like when completed!
