Starting from the beginning, make an even number of CHs

Row 1: Make 1 HDC into the 2nd CH from your hook
Make 1 DC into the next CH
Make 1 HDC into the next CH
Make 1 DC into the next CH
Continue making 1 HDC then 1 DC into each CH across for row 1
Row 2: Make 1 CH
Make 1 SC into the 1st ST
Make 1 SC into each ST across for row 2
Row 3: Make 2 CHs
Make 1 HDC into the 1st ST
Make 1 DC into the next ST
Make 1 HDC into the 1st ST
Make 1 DC into the next ST
Continue making 1 HDC then 1 DC into each ST across for row 3
Alternate between rows 2 & 3 for however long you want your project
