Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Lattice Stitch!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here!
Make CHs in the multiple of 3 + 1
For your 1st row into chains, make 1 SC into each CH across
❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈
1st Lattice ST row: Make 1 CH
Make 1 SC into 1st ST
Make 2 CHs
(If you're working into that 1st SC row, make 3 CHs)
Make 1 SC into previous open space
(If you're working into that 1st SC row, skip 2 STs, make 1 SC into next ST)
*Make 3 CHs
Make 1 SC into previous open space
(If you're working into that 1st SC row, skip 2 STs, make 1 SC into next ST)
Repeat these steps from * until you reach the last ST of row
(If you're working into that 1st SC row, you'll end this row on a SC in the last ST)
Make 2 CHs
1 SC into last ST
2nd Lattice ST row: CH 1
1 SC into 1st ST
Make 3 CHs
Skip 1st open space, make 1 SC into next open space
Repeat these steps from above until you reach the last open space of row
(CH 3, SC into open space, etc)
Make 3 CHs
Skip over last open space completely, work 1 SC into last ST of row
Alternate between these 2 Lattice rows for however long you want your project
This is what the Lattice Stitch should look like when completed!
