Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Primrose Stitch!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! And how to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here!

If you're starting from the very beginning making chains, you'll make chains in the multiple of 3
You'll make 1 Primrose ST into the 2nd CH from your hook for your first row, skip 2 CHs, 1 Primrose ST, etc.
To start your Primrose ST row: Make 2 CHs
*Skip 1 ST, in next small open space: make 1 SC, CH 2 1 DC (1 Primrose ST)
You'll only be working into previous CH 2 spaces, repeat from * for the rest of your row
Work 1 SC into the last ST/space
To start your DC/Granny Block row: Make 3 CHs
*Work 3 DC into the open spaces from the previous CH 2s
Repeat from * for the rest of your row
Work 1 DC into the last ST/space
You would then alternate between the Primrose ST row and the DC row for however long you want your project
This is what the Primrose Stitch should look like when completed!
