Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make my Side Saddle Cluster Stitch!

First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch

Starting from the beginning make CHs in the multiple of 5 + 1

Row 1: Make 1 SC into the 2nd CH from your hook

Make 3 CHs

*Yarn over your hook 1 time

Insert your hook into the next CH, bring that yarn through, yarn over, take that yarn through 2 loop on your hook

Insert your hook into the next CH, bring that yarn through, yarn over, take that yarn through 2 loop on your hook

Insert your hook into the next CH, bring that yarn through, yarn over, take that yarn through 2 loop on your hook

Insert your hook into the next CH, bring that yarn through, yarn over, take that yarn through 2 loop on your hook

So that's 5 loops on your hook total

Yarn over your hook 1 time

Take that yarn through all 5 loops on your hook

This is one Sidle Saddle Cluster ST made

Make 1 CH to secure it all together

Make 1 SC into the next CH

Make 3 CHs

Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of Row 1

Row 2: Make 5 CHs

Make 1 SC into the top of the previous Side Saddle Cluster ST, in the CH on top

*This is where the sequence will start repeating

Make 3 CHs

This is where you repeat the Side Saddle Cluster ST into the previous CH 3 space

*Yarn over your hook 1 time

Insert your hook into the next CH, bring that yarn through, yarn over, take that yarn through 2 loop on your hook
Insert your hook into the next CH, bring that yarn through, yarn over, take that yarn through 2 loop on your hook
Insert your hook into the next CH, bring that yarn through, yarn over, take that yarn through 2 loop on your hook
Insert your hook into the next CH, bring that yarn through, yarn over, take that yarn through 2 loop on your hook
So that's 5 loops on your hook total
Yarn over your hook 1 time
Take that yarn through all 5 loops on your hook

Make 1 CH to secure it together

Make 1 SC into the top of the previous Side Saddle Cluster ST, in the CH on top

Repeat the steps above until you have 1 S left in your row

Make 1 DC into the last ST to complete Row 2

Row 3: Make 1 CH

*This is where the sequence will start repeating

Make 3 CHs

This is where you repeat the Side Saddle Cluster ST into the previous CH 3 space

*Yarn over your hook 1 time

Insert your hook into the next CH, bring that yarn through, yarn over, take that yarn through 2 loop on your hook
Insert your hook into the next CH, bring that yarn through, yarn over, take that yarn through 2 loop on your hook
Insert your hook into the next CH, bring that yarn through, yarn over, take that yarn through 2 loop on your hook
Insert your hook into the next CH, bring that yarn through, yarn over, take that yarn through 2 loop on your hook
So that's 5 loops on your hook total
Yarn over your hook 1 time
Take that yarn through all 5 loops on your hook

Make 1 CH

*Make 3 CHs

This is where you repeat the Side Saddle Cluster ST into the previous CH 3 space

*Yarn over your hook 1 time

Insert your hook into the next CH, bring that yarn through, yarn over, take that yarn through 2 loop on your hook
Insert your hook into the next CH, bring that yarn through, yarn over, take that yarn through 2 loop on your hook
Insert your hook into the next CH, bring that yarn through, yarn over, take that yarn through 2 loop on your hook
Insert your hook into the next CH, bring that yarn through, yarn over, take that yarn through 2 loop on your hook
So that's 5 loops on your hook total
Yarn over your hook 1 time
Take that yarn through all 5 loops on your hook

Make 1 CH

Repeat the steps above from * until you reach the last ST of your row

Make 1 SC into the last ST of Row 3

This is what the Side Saddle Cluster Stitch should look like when completed!
