First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), tutorial here! And how to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), I have a tutorial here!
In the CH/ST/Space you want to work make 1 SC
Then make 1 CH
Then work 1 SC into that same CH/ST/Space as the 1st SC made. that's 1 Spider Stitch made.
This is what the Spider Stitch should look like when completed!
