First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), I have a tutorial here! And how to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here!
The Wattle Stitch is made in multiples of 3
Work 1 SC in the next CH/ST/Space, then make 1 CH (Shown Above)
Then work 1 DC into that same CH/ST/Space (Shown Above)
This is what the Wattle Stitch should look like when completed!
