First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), tutorial here! How to make the Triple Crochet Stitch (TR), I have a tutorial here! And how to work in the Back Loops, tutorial here!
Crochet ribbing is a great technique for if you need any stretchy area for a project. Example: hats, tops, bags, etc.
Start with 3 CHs to begin your row
Work 1 TR into the 1st ST and work in the Back Loop
Then work 1 TR in each ST and in the Back Loops
This is what your Triple Crochet Ribbing should look like when completed!
