Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Zig Zag Slip Stitch Join!

First, with any project you'll need some squares that you want to join together. I used the Solid Granny Square for my example squares, tutorial here! You'll also need some yarn and a crochet hook to make the join.

For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Slip Knot, tutorial here! And how to make the Slip Stitch (SL ST), tutorial here!

❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈

Start with 2 squares that you want to join together (tutorial for these listed above)

Make a Slip Knot with the yarn you're using for the join (tutorial for these listed above)

Insert your hook into one corner of one of the squares

Add the Slip Knot onto your hook

Bring that Slip Knot through the corner space

Insert your hook into the corresponding corner space, on the other square

Grab the yarn you're working with and pull it through both spaces and that loop on your hook to create a Slip Stitch

You'll now have the front of each square facing out and the backs of the squares together on the inside

*Insert your hook into the next ST on the square farthest from you, from the front to back of the square (Shown Above)

Grab the yarn you're working with pull, it through that stitch, to make a SL ST

Insert your hook into the corresponding stitch on the other square, insert your hook into the front of the square, to the back of your square (Shown Above)

Grab the yarn you're working with pull, it through that stitch, to make a SL ST

Repeat the steps above from *, you can see in the picture above how to Zig Zag SL ST Join is forming

You'll reach the next corners of the squares

Insert your hook into the corners, front to back through the square farthest from you

Grab the yarn you're working with pull, it through that stitch, to make a SL ST

From here you would fasten off, tutorial here!

This is what how the Zig Zag Slip Stitch Join should look like when completed!
