Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on How To Start a Crochet Circle!
There are several ways to make a circle for crochet projects. Here I am bringing you just one technique! I also have a tutorial on how to make the Magic Loop/Magic Ring/Magic Circle here too!
First you'll start this circle by making 4 Chains (CH). If you need a tutorial on how to make chains I have a tutorial here!
You'll then start making your stitches into the 1st chain (CH) that you had made with your hook. I have added a arrow to the picture above to help show which chain. For my example I am using the Double Crochet Stitch (DC) and working 10 into my 1st CH.
The pictures above shows I have worked 5 DC STS into that CH. I have added a arrow above to show that same CH and you can see how the circle is forming in the middle.
This is what my completed circle looks like!
So this tutorial follows with a pattern that would start with 'Work X amount of STS into the first CH of your hook'.
