Pattern:
Make chains in the multiple of 6, I made 156 CHs for my example blanket
Row 1: 1 DC into the 9th CH from your hook, 1 DC into next CH X3, *CH 2, SK 2 CHs, 1 DC into each of the next 4 CHs, repeat from * for the rest of this row
Row 2: CH 2 (counts as 1 DC), SK 1 ST, 1 DC into next ST, *CH 2, SK 2 STs, DC SP into CH/ST under next CH space X 2, 1 DC into next ST, 1 DC into next ST, repeat from * for the rest of this row
Row 3: CH 2 (counts as 1 DC), SK 1 ST, *1 DC into next ST, 1 DC into next ST, DC SP into CH/ST under next CH space X 2, CH 2, SK 2 STs, repeat from * for the rest of this row, make 1 DC into the last CH/ST
Row 4: CH 2 (counts as 1 DC), SK 1 ST, *DC SP into CH/ST under next CH space X 2, 1 DC into next ST, 1 DC into next ST, CH 2, SK 2 STs, repeat from * for the rest of this row, make 1 DC into the last CH/ST
Row 5: CH 2 (counts as 1 DC), SK 1 ST, *DC SP into CH/ST under next CH space X 2, CH 2, SK 2 STs, 1 DC into next ST, 1 DC into next ST, repeat from * for the rest of this row, make 1 DC into the last CH/ST
Row 6: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC), SK to next CH space, *DC SP into CH/ST under next CH space X 2, 1 DC into next ST, 1 DC into next ST, CH 2, SK 2 STs, repeat from * for the rest of this row, make 1 DC into the last CH/ST
Row 7: CH 3, SK 3 STs, *1 DC into next ST, 1 DC into next ST, DC SP into CH/ST under next CH space X 2, CH 2, SK 2 STs, repeat from * for the rest of this row, make 1 DC into the last CH/ST
You would now repeat Rows 5, 6 & 7 in order for however long you want your project
Last row, to close up the last holes in your blanket:
Last Row: CH 1, *make 1 SC into each ST until you reach a CH space, make 1 HDC into each ST below that CH space, * for the rest of this row, make 1 HDC into the last CH/ST
