Only 1 row repeated, very beginner friendly

Here is the free pattern/tutorial:
Materials:
Yarn – Any yarn will work – I used Medium/DK weight for my example blanket
Crochet hook – Any hook will work – I used a I hook for my example blanket – 5.5 MM
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Crochet Stitches Needed:
Chain – CH
Stitch – ST
Skip – SK
Single Crochet Stitch (SC):

Pattern:
Make an even number of CHs + 3, I made 153 CHs for my example blanket
Row 1: Make 2 DC into the 3rd CH from your hook, *SK 2 CHs, (SC + 2 DC) into next CH, repeat from * for the rest of this row
Row 2: BLO: CH 2, *SK 2 STs, (SC + 2 DC) into next ST, repeat from * for the rest of this row
Repeat Row 2 for however long you want your project
