Very beginner friendly and works up quickly!

Here is the free pattern/tutorial:
Materials:
Yarn – Any yarn will work – I used Medium/DK weight for my example blanket
Crochet hook – Any hook will work – I used a ‘I’ hook for my example blanket – 5.5 MM
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Crochet Stitches Needed:
Chain – CH
Stitch – ST
Skip – SK
Single Crochet Stitch (SC):

Pattern:
Starting from the beginning, make chains in the multiple 3 + 4, I made 154 CHs for my example blanket
Row 1: Make 3 DC into the 5th CH from your hook, *SK 2 CHs, 3 DC into the next CH, repeat from * for the rest of this row, 1 DC into the last CH
Row 2: CH 3, SK 4 STs, 1 TR into the space between STs, CH 2, 1 TR into the space between 1st & 3rd ST skipped, *SK 3 STs, 1 TR into the space between STs, CH 2, 1 TR into the space to the right of 3 STs you just skipped, repeat from * for the rest of this row, 1 DC into the last CHs/ST
Row 3: CH 3, 3 DC into each CH 2 space across, 1 DC into the last CHs/ST
Alternate between Rows 2 & 3 for however long you want your project
