Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make my Candy Floss Hexagon!

First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this motif.

For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Slip Stitch (SL ST), tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! And ow to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here!

There are several ways to start this motif. You can use the Magic Ring/Circle/Loop, I have a tutorial here! The Chain 4 method, I have a tutorial here! Or the Slip Stitch Method, I have a tutorial here!

This pattern starts as a circle, then turns into a Hexagon

Then SL ST into that 1st CH you made to complete this row

Row 2: Start at any previous ST, Make 2 CHs

Make 2 DC,

*CH 2, skip to the next ST

Make 3 DC all into that ST

Repeat from * around until you reach the 1st CHs you made in this row

SL ST into those 1st CHs to complete this row

Row 3: Start at any previous CH space, make 3 CHs

Make 1 DC into that same CH space

CH 2

Make 2 DC into that same CH space

*Skip 1 ST, make 1 DC into the next ST

Skip to the next CH space, make (2 DC, CH 2, 2 DC) into that CH space

Repeat from * around until you reach the 1st CHs you made in this row

SL ST into those 1st CHs to complete this row

Row 4: Start at any previous CH space, make 6 CHs

Make 1 DC into the same CH space

*Make 2 CHs

Skip 2 STs, make 1 DC into that next ST

CH 2

Skip 2 STs, to the next CH space

Make (1 DC, CH 3, 1 DC) into that space

Repeat from * around until you reach the 1st CHs you made in this row

SL ST into those 1st CHs to complete this row

Row 5: Start at any previous CH 3 space, make 3 CHs

Make 1 DC into the same CH space

CH 2

Make 2 DC into that same CH space

*Side: Skip to the next CH space, make 3 DC X 2

Next corner space: Make 2 DC, CH 2, 2 DC into that CH space

Repeat from * around until you reach the 1st CHs you made in this row
