Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make my Lucky Day Cowl!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning how to make this cowl.
Hook I used: Sized 'I'
Yarn I used medium yarn/DK yarn for my example cowl
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Slip Stitch (SL ST), tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! How to make the Half Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here! And be familiar with the Compact blanket Stitch, tutorial here!

Make chains in the multiple of 3, I made 183 CHs for my example CHs
Row 1: (1 SC + 2 HDC) into the 2nd CH from your hook
*Skip 2 CHs, (1 SC + 2 HDC) into the next CH
Repeat the step above from * until you have 4 CHs left
Skip 2 CHs, 1 SC into the next CH
Then 2 HDC into the last CH to complete
Row 2: Make 2 CHs
*Skip 2 STs, (1 SC + 2 HDC) into the next ST
Repeat this step for the rest of this row to complete
You would now repeat Row 2 for how wide you want your cowl
I made 13 for my example cowl
Leave a long yarn tail end, Then you would seam up the sides of your cowl together
I usually suggest using the SL ST, it's the easiest way to sew the ends together
You can leave your cowl flat before you sew the ends
or you can twist one side, then sew to give your cowl more of an infinity cowl feel
This is what the Lucky Day Cowl should look like when completed!
