Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Comfort Zone Stitch!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! And how to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here!
Starting from the beginning, make chains in the multiple of 6 + 1
❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈
Row 1: Make 1 DC into the 7th CH from your hook
*CH 1
Make 1 DC over the DC you had just made, into the CH to the right of that DC
Make 1 DC into each of the next 3 CHs
Skip 2 CHs, make 1 DC into the next CH
Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of this row
Make 1 DC into the last CH in this row to complete
Row 2: CH 3
*Into any previous X ST: Make 3 DC
Into any next 3 DC: SK 2 STs, 1 DC into that next ST, CH 1, 1 DC over DC just made, into 1st DC of previous 3 DC
Repeat the steps above from * until you only have some CHs left
Make 1 DC into the top of those last CHs to complete this row
You would repeat Row 2 for however long your want your project
This is what the Comfort Zone Stitch should look like when completed!
