This square would be amazing for so many different projects!
This circle to square motif would look amazing in any color(s)!

Here is the free pattern/tutorial:
Materials:
Yarn – Any yarn will work – I used Medium/DK weight for my example square
Crochet hook – Any hook will work – I used a I hook for my example square – 5.5 MM
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Notes:
I Fasten Off each row to change colors:

Crochet Stitches Needed:
Chain – CH
Stitch – ST
Skip – SK

Pattern:
Pick your favorite way to start a circle or square, playlist above!
Row 1: Make circle, CH 3, 12 DC into that circle space, SL ST into the 1st CHs made to complete this row
Row 2: (Start at any ST) CH 5, *1 DC into next ST, CH 2, repeat from * around, SL ST into the 1st CHs made to complete this row
Row 3: (Start at any previous CH 2 space) CH 3, 2 DC into same ST as CHs just made, *CH 1, SK to next CH 2 space, 3 DC, repeat from * around, SL ST into the 1st CHs made to complete this row
Row 4: (Start at any previous CH 1 space) CH 4, *SK 3 STs, SC between STs in previous CH 1 space, CH 3, repeat from * around, SL ST into the 1st CHs made to complete this row
Row 5: (Start at any previous CH 3 space) CH 3, 2 DC into same space, CH 3, 3 DC into same space, *SK to next space, 3 HDC, CH 1, SK to next space, 3 HDC, SK to next space, (3 DC, CH 3, 3 DC) into that space, repeat from * around, SL ST into the 1st CHs made to complete this row
