Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a free crochet square pattern from me! My Lonely Polka Dot Square is so cute and works up quick!
Another great square/motif pattern that could work with so many different projects and would look nice in many different colors!

Here is the free pattern/tutorial:
Materials:
Yarn – Any yarn will work! I used medium/DK weight yarn to make my example square
Crochet hook – I Hook – 5.5 MM
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Notes:

Crochet Stitches Needed:
Chain – CH
Stitch – ST
Skip – SK

Pattern:
Pick your favorite way to start a circle or square, playlist linked above!
Row 1: 15 DC into the center of the circle you just made, SL ST into first DC made in this row to complete the row
Row 2: CH 4, 1 TRC in the open space on the first DC made in the last row (normally you would work in the top of the stitches, in this row you will be working inbetween them), *CH 1, 1 TRC in next open space, repeat from * around, SL ST into CH 4 made at beginning of the row to complete this row
Row 3: CH 3, 1 TRC into fist open space in row, *CH 1, 2 TRC in next open space, repeat from * around, SL ST into CH 3 made at the beginning of the row to complete this row
Row 4: CH 3, 2 DC in same open space as the CH 3 you just made, CH 1, *2 DC in next open space, CH 1, 1 TRC in next open space, CH 5, 3 DC in next open space, CH 1, repeat from * around, SL ST into CH 3 made at the beginning of the row to complete this row
Row 5: CH 3, 2 DC in same open space as CH 3 you just made, * 3 DC in next open space, 3 DC in next open space, 3 DC in next open space, 3 DC in corner space, CH 3, 3 DC in same corner space, repeat from * around, SL ST into first CH 3 made at the beginning of the row to complete this row
Fasten off, Weave any ends
