Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Single Crochet Stitch!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
To start this stitch, if you are at the beginning of a row you will make 1 chain for the single crochet stitch.
Then you'll insert your hook into the next stitch or space you want to work. (Shown above) You'll then grab the yarn behind this stitch and pull it through.
You then will have 2 loops on your hook. You'll yarn over your hook and pull that yarn through both looks to complete one Single Crochet Stitch.
This is what the Single Crochet Stitch should look like when completed!
