Make CHs in the multiple of 3, I made 180 CHs for my example cowl
Row 1: Make 2 DC into the 4th CH from your hook
Skip 3 CHs, make 3 DC into the next CH
*Skip 3 CHs, make 3 DC into the next CH
Repeat the step above from * for the rest of your row
Row 2: Make 4 CHs
Skip previous block of 3 DC, make 3 DC into the next open space
Skip to next open space, make 3 DC
*Skip to next open space, make 3 DC
Repeat the step above from * until you have 1 3 DC block left in your row
Make 1 CH
*Make 1 DC into the last ST of your row
Row 3: Make 3 CHs, these 3 CHs count as 1 DC
Make 2 DC into the 1st space of your row (so that's 3 DC together with those 3 CHs)
Skip to next open space, make 3 DC
Skip to next open space, make 3 DC
Repeat the step above from * for the rest of your row
Alternate between Rows 2 & 3 for however thin or thick you want your cowl
Once you make as many rows as you want, leave a long yarn tail you seam your cowl ends together
You could leave your cowl straight as you sew it up
Or you could twist one end to give it a more infinity cowl feel
