Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Extended Back Post Single Crochet Stitch!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitches (SC), I have a tutorial here! And be familiar with the Extended Single Crochet Stitch, tutorial here!
To begin, insert your hook through the back of your work. In the open area next to the next stitch you would normally work into. (Shown Above)
Then insert your hook around the front of that same stitch, into the open area on the other side. You hook will stick out towards the back of your work again. (Shown Above)
Grab the yarn from behind your work and pull it through those spaces, up to the row you are currently working
This is where you would continue the stitch like a regular Extended Single Crochet Stitch. Yarn over your hook and bring that yarn through one loop on your hook. (Shown Above)
Then yarn over your hook and bring that yarn through the last two loops on your hook. (Shown Above)
This is what the Extended Back Post Single Crochet Stitch should look like when completed!
