Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Slip Stitch Back Loop Join to bring any crochet motifs together!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
For my example SQs I used this tutorial here!
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Slip Stitch (SL ST), tutorial here! And how to work in the Back Loops, tutorial here!
❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈
Start at meeting corners of your motifs that you want to join
Bring your yarn through both corners of each motif to start
Make 1 CH
Line up the STs of your motifs
*Insert your hook into the Back Loop of each ST of the motifs
Yarn over your hook
Bring that yarn through both loops on your hook
Then like a regular Slip Stitch, bring that yarn through the last loop on your hook
Repeat the steps above from * until you reach a corner space
Insert your hook into the corner space, yarn over and bring that yarn through the corner space
Then bring that yarn through the last loop on your hook
Then make 1 CH and Fasten Off your join
