Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Aligned Cluster Stitch!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! How to make the Half Double Crochet Stitch (HDC), tutorial here! And how to make the Cluster Stitch (CL), tutorial here!
Starting from the beginning, make chains in the multiple of 2
❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈
Row 1: Make 1 CH
(Skip to next step if working into CHs)
Make 1 SC into 1st ST
(Work 1 SC into 2nd CH from hook if working into chains)
Make 1 CH, Skip 1 ST/CH
Make 1 SC into next ST/CH
Make 1 CH, Skip 1 ST/CH
Make 1 SC into next ST/CH
Alternate between these 2 above steps until you reach the end of your row
Row 2: Make 1 CH
1 HDC into 1st ST
Make a 4 DC Cluster ST into next open space from previous CH 1
*Make 1 CH
Make a 4 DC Cluster ST into next open space from previous CH 1
Repeat these 2 steps above from * until you reach the last ST of your row
Make 1 HDC into the last ST of your row
Alternate between these 2 rows for however long you want your project
