Starting from the beginning, make chains in the multiple of 6 + 2

Row 1: Make 1 SC into the 2nd CH from your hook
Make 1 SC into the next CH
Make 3 CHs, Skip 3 CHs
Make 1 SC into each of the next 3 CHs
*Make 3 CHs, Skip 3 CHs
Make 1 SC into each of the next 3 CHs
Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of your row
Row 2: Make 1 CH
Make 1 SC into the 1st ST
*Skip 1 ST, into the previous CH 3 space:
Make 7 DC into that space
Skip 1 ST, into the next ST make 1 SC
It'll be that middle SC of previous 3
Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of your row
Row 3: Make 3 CHs
Skip 3 STs, make 1 SC into each of the next 3 STs
*Skip 5 STs, make 1 SC into each of the next 3 STs
Repeat the step above from * until you have 3 STs left in your row
Make 1 CH, Skip 2 STs
Make 1 DC into the last ST to complete this row
Row 4: Make 1 CH
Skip 1st ST, into previous CH 3 space make 4 DC
Skip 1 ST, make 1 SC into the next ST
It'll be that middle SC of previous 3
*Skip next ST, into previous CH 3 space make 7 DC
Skip 1 ST, make 1 SC into the next ST
It'll be that middle SC of previous 3
Repeat the steps above from * until you reach the last previous CH 3 space in this row
make 4 DC into that space
Make 1 DC into the top of the turning CH from your last row to complete this one
Row 5: Make 1 CH
Make 1 SC into the 1st and the 2nd ST
*Make 3 CHs, Skip 6 CHs
Make 1 SC into each of the next 3 CHs
Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of your row
Repeat Rows 2, 3, 4 & 5 in order for however long you want your project
