Wrap the yarn around your hand twice

Turn your hand over to look at the top

Insert your hook underneath all of the yarn strands on your hand

Grab the farthest strand of yarn and pull it under the other two

Lightly pull the entire circle off your hand, slightly twisting the yarn on your hook to make a loop to start making stitches

Pull the tail through the center of the circle from the back

This is where you can make as many chains as you need for your pattern

Then you can work stitches for your pattern over both strand and the tail

Lightly pull the tail to see which strand is connected to it

When you find the one connected, the one that moved
Pull that loop at the top slowly to seam up the other loop

So now you'll have the tail and the loop it's connected to

Now pull the tail to seam up the other loop

Then you would just Slip Stitch (tutorial here) to complete your circle

And that's how to make the Double Magic Ring!
