First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! How to make the Berry Stitch (BS), tutorial here!

To start your row, make 1 CH
1 SC into first ST
1 BS in the next ST
1 SC into the next ST
1 BS in the next ST
1 SC into the next ST
Alternate between the SC & BS until you reach the end of your row
CH 1 and turn your work
1 SC into each ST across
Alternate between these 2 rows for however long you want your project
This is what the Even Berry Stitch should look like when completed!
