First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! And how to make the Quad Stitch, tutorial here!
Start by wrapping the yarn around your hook 3 times
Insert your hook into the next stitch and pull up a loop on your hook (5 loops)
Yarn over your hook
Take that yarn through only 1 loop on your hook (5 loops)
Yarn over your hook again
Take that yarn through 2 loops on your hook (4 loops)
Yarn over your hook again
Take that yarn through 2 loops on your hook (3 loops)
Yarn over your hook again
Take that yarn through 2 loops on your hook (2 loops)
Yarn over your hook again
Take that yarn through the last 2 loops on your hook
This is what the Extended Quad Stitch should look like when completed!
