Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Popcorn Stitch!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.
For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), tutorial here! And how to make the Double Crochet Stitches (DC), I have a tutorial here!
Work 5 DC into 1 CH/ST/Space. Above I have made 5 DC into 1 ST
Be sure to leave a long loop when you finish the 5th DC
Take your hook from the last DC you made and insert it into the top of the 1st DC you made in this ST
Then insert your hook through that long loop you left from the last DC made and grab the yarn you're working with
Bring that yarn through both of those loops, then secure the Popcorn Stitch with 1 CH
This is what the Popcorn Stitch should look like when completed!
