Photo Tutorial - How To Crochet: The Purl Slip Stitch!

Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos for the Purl Slip Stitch!

First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch.

For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Slip Stitch (SL ST), tutorial here! How to work in the Front Loops, tutorial here! And how to work in the Back Loops, tutorial here!

Starting from the beginning, make any number of chains

 

❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈ ❈

Row 1: 1 SL ST into the 2nd CH from your hook

Make 1 SL ST into each CH across for Row 1

Row 2: Make 1 CH

For Row 2 we're making all SL STs again but ONLY working in the Back Loops

Row 3: Make 1 CH

For Row 3 we're making all SL STs again but ONLY working in the Front Loops

Alternate between rows 2 & 3 for however long you want your project

This is what the Purl Slip Stitch should look like when completed!
