Starting from the beginning, make chains in the multiple of 3 + 2

Row 1: Make 1 DC into the 3rd CH from your hook
Make 1 DC into the next 2 CHs
So that's 3 made so far
*Make 3 CHs, Skip 3 CHs
Make 1 DC into the next 3 CHs
Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of your row
Row 2: Make 3 CHs, Skip 3 STs
Make 1 DC into the CHs under the next previous CH 3 space
Going forward you will work into the tops of DC underneath
*Make 3 CHs, Skip 3 STs
Make 1 DC into the CHs under the next previous CH 3 space
Going forward you will work into the tops of DC underneath
Repeat the steps above from * until you have 1 block of 3 DC left in your row
Make 3 CHs, Skip 3 STs
Make 1 SC into the tops of the previous CHs at the end of your row
Row 3: Make 3 CHs
Make 1 DC into the tops of the DC under the next previous CH 3 space
*Make 3 CHs, Skip 3 STs
Make 1 DC into the tops of the DC under the next previous CH 3 space
Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of your row
Alternate between Rows 2 & 3 for however long you want your project
