Notes:

I have a video tutorial for these squares here if that's easier!

I made 10 rows of 10 squares for my blanket. So in total I made 100 squares. This blanket came out to be a throw size.

* Make as many squares as you want for the size of blanket you want

* Then chose a joining method and join the squares together

I used the Slip Stitch Back Loop Join for my example blanket, tutorial here!

Border:

Row 1: Start at a corner: *(1 HDC, CH 2, 1 HDC) into each corner space, 1 HDC into each ST until you reach another corner space, repeat from * around, SL ST to finish your row

Row 2: Start at a corner space: Make 8 DC, CH 2, *SK 2, 1 HDC V into next ST, CH 2, SK 2, 1 SC + PI into next ST, repeat from * until you reach a corner space. Then start this row over for each side. SL ST into 1st ST made in this row to finish your row
