Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a new free pattern from me! My Spiral Granny Square is fast to make!
This square would be a funky pattern in several different colors! A never ending granny block with so many possibilities!

Here is the free pattern/tutorial:
Materials:
Yarn – Any yarn will work – I used Medium/DK weight for my example square
Crochet hook – Any hook will work – I used a I hook for my example square – 5.5 MM
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Crochet Stitches Needed:
Chain – CH
Stitch – ST
Skip – SK

Double Crochet Stitch (DC):

Pattern:
Pick your favorite way to start a circle or square: Magic Circle/Ring/Loop, Chain 4 method, Slip Stitch method
Row 1: Make circle, 12 DC into circle, SL ST into 1st DC made to end row
Row 2: CH 3, 1 DC in same ST as CH 3 just made, 1 DC into next ST, 5 DC into next ST, 1 DC into next 2 STs, 5 DC into next ST, 1 DC into next 2 STs, 5 DC into next ST, 1 DC into next 3 STs, 1 DC into next ST, 5 DC into previous CH 3 space
This will be the beginner of your 3rd row
Row 3: *1 DC in each ST until you reach the middle DC of the previous 5 DC, then 5 SC into that next ST repeat until end of row
To end your SQ you would make it back to the CH 3 space from the 1st row, then make 1 DC into the ST you would have made the 5 DC in to turn, that will even out the sides of your square
