Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to Skip Stitches for any crochet project!
First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this technique. You can use this for any project you are currently working!
First, you'll need to decide where you want to skip stitches. Then once you make stitches up to that spot you would make some chains corresponding to the spaces/stitches you want to skip. How to make chains here!
You can see in this example test swatch I want to skip 3 stitches, so I made 3 chains above them. Then you would work into the next stitch, instead of those you skipped. So I would then work into the 4th ST above.
You would then repeat this for any future CHs/stitches/spaces you want to skip.
