Photo Tutorial – How To Crochet: The Cami Stitch!

Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a written tutorial with photos on how to make the Cami Stitch!

First, with any project you'll need a crochet hook and yarn. Any yarn or hook will do for learning this stitch

For this tutorial you'll need to know how to make Chains (CH), I have a tutorial here! How to make the Single Crochet Stitch (SC), tutorial here! And how to make the Double Crochet Stitch (DC), tutorial here!

Starting from the beginning, make chains in the multiple of 3 + 2

Row 1: Make 1 SC into the 2nd CH from your hook

Make 2 CHs, skip 2 CHs

Make 1 SC into the next CH

*Make 2 CHs, skip 2 CHs

Make 1 SC into the next CH

Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of your row

Row 2: Make 3 CHs

Make 1 DC into the 1st ST

Skip previous CH 2 space, make 3 DC into the previous SC

*Skip previous CH 2 space, make 3 DC into the previous SC

Repeat the step above from * until you have 1 ST left in your row

Skip last previous CH 2 space, make 2 DC into the last ST of your row

Row 3: Make 1 CH

Make 1 SC into the 1st ST

Make 2 CHs, Skip 2 STs

Make 1 SC into the next ST

*Make 2 CHs, Skip 2 STs

Make 1 SC into the next ST

Repeat the steps above from * until you have 2 STs left in your row

Skip those 2 STs, make 1 SC into the top of the previous turning CHs at the end of your row

Alternate between Rows 2 & 3 for however long you want your project

This is what how the Cami Stitch should look like when completed!
