You would now alternate between Rows 3 & 4 for how big you want your squares
-
I made 24 rows for each of my example squares
-
You could make more or less rows for how big or small you want your blanket
-
Make 4 squares to join together
-
Then join your squares together to make a blanket
-
I used the Join As You Go method:
-
I also have a playlist featuring more Joining tutorials here!
I used row 4 to join my squares together. I adapted the JAYG method to this lace row, so it would match the pattern of these squares.
JAYG Row: Once you get to the corner where you will join the squares, instead of CH 3, make 1 CH, SL ST into that corner, *CH 1, SK to space between STs, make 1 SC, CH 1, SL ST into CH space on square you are joining into, repeat for each joining side, at the corners: 1 SC into corner space, CH 1, SL ST into joining square corner, then start repeat the side joining steps again.
