
Thanks for visiting my page! Here is a new free pattern from me! My Glowing Chevron Afghan is so cute and has a 'hidden' chevron in this filet style!
Only 1 stitch needed to make this beauty!

Here is the free pattern/tutorial:
Materials:
Yarn – Any yarn will work – I used Medium/DK weight for my example blanket
Crochet hook – Any hook will work – I used a I hook for my example blanket – 5.5 MM
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Notes:
This helped me keep track of the Chevron
Row 2: Block of 4 DC, 5 open spaces
Row 3: 1 open space, Block of 4 DC, 3 open spaces
Row 4: Same as 3, but worked opposite of open spaces made in Row 3
Row 5: Block of 4 DC, 5 open spaces
Row 6: All open spaces across
Crochet Stitches Needed:
Chain – CH
Stitch – ST
Skip – SK
Double Crochet Stitch (DC):

Pattern:
Starting from the beginning, make chains in the multiples of 12 + 6. I made 162 chains for my example blanket
Row 1: 1 DC into 5th CH from your hook, *CH 2, SK 2 CHs, 1 DC into next CH, repeat from * for the rest of this row
Row 2: CH 3, 2 DC into next CH space, 1 DC into next ST, *CH 2, SK CH space, 1 DC into next ST, repeat from * until you have 5 CH spaces made, 2 DC into next CH space, 1 DC into next ST, then you’ll start repeating again from * for the rest of this row
Row 3: CH 5, SK CH space, 1 DC into next ST, *CH 2, SK CH space, 1 DC into next ST, CH 2, SK CH space, 1 DC into next ST, 2 DC into CH space, 1 DC into next ST, CH 2, SK 2 STs, 1 DC into next ST, 2 DC into CH space, 1 DC into next ST, repeat from * for the rest of this row
Row 4: CH 5, SK CH space, 1 DC into next ST, CH 2, SK 2 STs, 1 DC into next ST, *2 DC into CH space, 1 DC into next ST, CH 2, SK CH space, 1 DC into next ST, 2 DC into CH space, 1 DC into next ST, CH 2, SK 2 STs, 1 DC into next ST, CH 2, SK CH space, 1 DC into next ST, CH 2, SK 2 STs, 1 DC into next ST, repeat from * for the rest of this row
Row 5: CH 5, SK 3 STs, 1 DC into next ST, 2 DC into CH space, 1 DC into next ST, *CH 2, SK CH space, 1 DC into next ST, repeat from * until you have 5 CH spaces made, 2 DC into next CH space, 1 DC into next ST, then you’ll start repeating again from * for the rest of this row
Row 6: CH 5, SK CH space, 1 DC into next ST, *CH 2, SK CH space, 1 DC into next ST, repeat from * for any CH space, *1 DC into next ST, CH 2, SK 2 STs, 1 DC into next ST, then repeat from * for any previous 4 DC across
Repeat Rows 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 for however long you want your project
