Here is the free pattern/tutorial:
Materials:
Yarn – Any yarn will work – I used Medium/DK weight for my example blanket
Crochet hook – Any hook will work – I used a ‘I’ hook for my example blanket – 5.5 MM
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Crochet Stitches Needed:
Chain – CH
Stitch – ST
Skip – SK
Double Crochet Stitch (DC):

Pattern:
Make chains in the multiple of 10 + 2, I made 152 CHs for my example blanket
Row 1: Make 1 DC into the 3rd CH from your hook, 1 DC, 1 DC,
*Decrease/Valley: SK 2 CHs,
Side: Make 1 DC into each of the next 4 CHs,
Increase/Peak: CH 2,
Side: Make 1 DC into each of the next 4 CHs,
Repeat the steps above from * for the rest of this row
Row 2: CH 3 (These CHs count as 1 DC),
For this row we willing be making our STs into the BLO of each ST,
SK the 1st ST, make 2 DC into BLO of the next ST,
Make 1 DC into the BLO of each of the next 2 STs, 1st Side made,
*Decrease/Valley: SK 2 STs,
Side: Then make 1 DC into the BLO of each of the next 3 STs,
Increase/Peak: 1 DC, CH 2, 1 DC all into the next previous CH 2 space,
Side: Then make 1 DC into the BLO of each of the next 3 STs,
Repeat the steps above from * until you only have some CHs left,
Make 1 DC into the top of those last CHs to complete this row
You would now repeat Row 2 for however long you want your project
